Exercising while breathing medical oxygen can increase level of oxygen in the body and "suffocate" cancer cells.
Cancer cells use a primitive form of respiration that doesn't require oxygen (called anaeroblic metabolism). This process produces lactic acid, which makes the surrounding environment acidic and easier to invade in to.
Oxygen neutralises this process and strengthens the tissues surrounding the tumour. Increasing oxygenation of the tissues therefore creates an environment that is hostile for cancer cells and their survival.
Other benefits of EWOT include:
- Improve energy and mental clarity
- Improve immunity
- Decrease infection
- Improved sense of well-being
